Two Public courses. Get out there and hook a few balls into the trees. Remember, this is a Zen kinda game.

The City of San Leandro owns two golf courses which are located adjacent to the beautiful San Leandro Marina. The Marina course is a 9 hole Executive course which was built in 1963. This excellent 1,658 yard long (par 29) golf course is ideal for the beginning golfer as well as for all golfers who want to get in a quick 9 holes. The Marina course is relatively flat with tree-lined fairways and is the only par 29 golf course in the Bay Area.

The Tony Lema course was designed by the famous William Bell Jr. and opened in 1983. This 18 hole (par 72) championship course overlooks the bay with spectacular views of San Francisco. The course measures 6,660 from the championship tees and is a challenge to all skill levels. Green fees for the Marina course are $8.00 and $20.00 for the Tony Lema course. Discounts are available for weekdays, residents, and seniors.

The Tony Lema Clubhouse has a full service restaurant with banquet rooms and a golfers' lounge as well as a fully stocked golf shop. For golfers that want to sharpen their game there is a covered driving range, practice chipping green, and putting greens.
